As an Assistant Swimming Teacher, you’ll thrive on supporting to help coach, encourage and support participants to achieve their goals.

 

You’ll need to be approachable, with the friendly, patient nature needed to build people’s trust, motivate pupils and encourage with praise.

 

You don’t need to possess a Swim Teaching Certificate or qualification to apply for this role. Better Leisure Centres are run by GLL, the largest leisure operator in the UK and one of the first and largest leisure social enterprises. We operate over 230 facilities including leisure centres, pools, spas, libraries and children’s centres in London & the South East, the South West, the North and Northern Ireland which encompass some of the most iconic venues in the country such as the London Aquatics Centre and Copper Box Arena on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Working pattern:
Various hours available – weekdays 4pm start, Saturdays 8.30am - 12pm

Salary:

£7.85 per hour or £5.90 per hour if aged 16-17 years

Initial Location:

Wellington Sports Centre, Wellington.
